In the words of Avril Lavigne, “He was a skater boy, she said see you later boy…” When looking at this Fashionisto, we definitely need to discredit Avril’s lyrics; his ensemble is nothing to say goodbye to. Summer is slowly coming to a close and what better way to spend these last few weeks than enjoying the great outdoors. Not to mention his skateboard is a great way to “go green” and get outside.

With all this talk about going outside, we can’t look past the fact that although the outdoors is a must, we still need an appropriate pair of shoes for any and all activities. This Fashionisto’s Cons KA-One have been designed specifically for the skateboarding consumer.

Its design includes molded lunarlon sockliner, traction rubber vulcanized and flexible soles, waxed canvas and memory foam. Converse has really out done themselves with this articulated design that appeals to their targeted audience. Although, to a non-skateboarder all these features may sound like useless jargon, the truth is no matter what your activity is there is a shoe out there that will meet your needs.

These shoes, alike many other athletic wear can also be worn on a day to day basis. For those of us who aren’t into actually doing much activities, don’t think the athletic look still cant be accomplished. Brands such as New Balance and Converse are classic looks that can be dressed up or dressed down.

Spotted: Valentino spring 2013 menswear collection shows just how easy accessorizing with sneakers can be.
