I don’t know what it is about the men’s section in a department store that makes it so appealing to the Fashionista eye but when we see it, we want it. Is it the comfortable fabrics? Oversized fit? Or maybe we’re just attracted to the gender. Whatever it may be, it is worth your time to stop and take a look and what the other side has to offer.
A chambray is made up of a fine lightweight fabric that is woven to perfection. Easily found in the beloved men’s department, this classic and simple style has served to dress the backs of working men time and time again. However, just as all styles evolve and then evolve again, the chambray has become a necessity for every Fashionista’s closet. The thing that stuck out to me most when I saw this Fashionista was that this classic style is worn not as a shirt but as the perfect beach cover-up.
Paired with the classic style Ray-Ban sunglasses, the oversized fit of this shirt gives off a very retro yet preppy vibe. Any article of clothing that can be used a million different times in a million different ways, such as becoming a model beach accessory is one worth purchasing. Not all of us are comfortable enough to search the racks of men’s clothing so buying a woman’s style in a bigger size is a great makeshift.
